Table of Contents
The red dot on the Apple Watch is like a red notification badges you see on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac app icons. It’s meant to let you know when you have unwatched notifications, but for some people it can be a bit distracting.
To view and delete notifications on Apple Watch, simply swipe down from the red dot to bring up the notification centre. If you scroll to the top of the list, there’s a Clear All button to clear all notifications and red dots.
If you don’t get a lot of notifications, this red dot is a useful way to know when you’ve got a notification to see, but if you’re always getting notifications, that little red dot will always appear on the watch face.
